Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain stroller is light durable, sturdy and provides excellent maneuverability. Its one-hand fold is compact, which means it's lightweight and is freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a near-flat position and there's a giant storage bin and canopy. The suitability for newborns is yes with an additional carrycot.
Air-filled tyres and good suspension can handle rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging but you must wait until your baby is six or nine months old for this.
Ickle Bubba Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a brilliant choice for parents who want lightweight strollers with added features. It comes as a travel system, which includes a lie-flat carrycot for infants, a multi-position forward and rear facing pushchair and a selection of a car seat, meaning you can have everything you need in one package.
The XL Air is a really impressive car and it's simple to see why it has received such high praise from its customers. It's extremely light-weight with the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg. It's extremely easy to put together. In fact I was able to put it up and running in just five minutes, which is amazing given that it included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!
It has a lovely wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is easy to operate. 3 wheeler pushchair is spacious with plenty of space and I am impressed that the handle bar comes with an area to keep your keys and phone secure.
The only downside is the handlebar is low, which can be a problem for taller parents. It's covered in a soft, comfortable leather-like material, and is easy to wipe down.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is made for sporty parents who are eager to get outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on field and forest paths. The front wheel is lockable and can be rotated to allow for greater flexibility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and front bar to keep your little one safe on all trips while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving even when you are taking a break. The comfy seat is easy to adjust down to a comfortable lying position, and the canopy opens to reveal to allow for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm, to fit mum or dad.
Whether you're going for short jogs or a hike that lasts a while, the Runner is ready to join you on all your adventures with a reclining, fully-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee smooth, safe ride. The front wheel can be locked for more stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks and the stroller folds up easily to fit into car boot spaces and storage areas.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebars are higher than the ones of other competitors, which means they may not be suitable for smaller parents. However, this stroller is sturdy and adaptable and is a good option by families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me moving
Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the cost-effective British brand. They are known for their clean, well-designed products that are essentials for parents. It's the latest - and priciest - version of their bargain light stroller collection. It's also like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible so that you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace boasts some fantastic design touches such as the rose gold hue to the hood, chassis and stroller trims that make it stand out from its competitors. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are fashionable and there's an option to add the leather handle for the cover and bumper bar too.
The stroller seat can be used from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg. It easily converts into a 2-in-1 reversible position, either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat comes with several lie-back positions, plus softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy that has concealed zip sections and a transparent flap, and a retractable visor.
What's more, when it's folded in half, the Pace measures up at 56 32 x 43 cm which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among others. Two buttons on either side are easy utilize and press into the appropriate position.
Bugaboo Fox 5
The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain pushchair Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis has a shorter wheel distance that makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tried it out with my two children eight weeks old and a toddler - on rocky roads, grassy wooded walks and even cobblestones.
The wheels that are puncture-proof are large with a diameter of 22cm and 30cm so they can cope with all kinds of terrain. The wheels come with an opening that can be closed or opened to let air in when needed. It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs but does not feel heavy or bulky when you're pushing it across bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable, and the frame and faux leather grips are simple to clean. It's also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt at ease with it on busy urban streets. It has built-in accessory points, so you can attach footmuffs and parasols as well as changing bags, snack trays, and even snack trays. You can also use the hood to block out rain and wind, but it isn't particularly waterproof. The single pram is able to be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) that gives your child more leg room. It took about 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it into the seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
Whether you enjoy running in the morning cool air or a nighttime stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a fun-filled adventure. This jogging stroller is all-terrain and is designed for maximum performance to keep your child and you active.
The large 12" and 16" foam-filled tires give you an easy ride, regardless of the terrain. The suspension is patented, allowing you to glide along trails with little impact on your child's legs and rear. And the durable hand brake with a performance disc allows you to stop quickly, even while running downhill.

The Ridge is at home in all city scenes from bustling farmers' markets to the street musicians performing music. The spacious basket can hold everything you need and market purchases, while the massive canopy offers sun and wind protection. The canopy on the front can be removed to reveal two mesh peekaboos that allow you to monitor your baby.
The Ridge's reversible seating lets you choose whether your child faces you, or the world ahead. The simple foot brake system makes it a breeze for new parents. One of the best features is the reversible handlebar which allows you to adjust it to your height and preference. The Ridge's fold, unlike other strollers for jogging, is sturdy and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy's new pushchair is truly revolutionary and comes with a host of features that are sure to amaze parents. It comes with a multi-mode wheelbase as well as an LED Visibility Hub light, which is the first of its kind in the market. It comes with a built-in Ride-on Board that saves on future costs, and lets tired toddlers accompany their parents on outings.
The Core is available as an entire travel system or as a single seat. It works with the most popular car seats, including the ones from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It has the biggest seat unit of the iCandy line, meaning you can use it for your baby's first year and beyond. It's a beautifully designed pushchair, and it is made of premium knitted fabric. The parent's adjustable handlebar and child's bumper bar that can be detached are made of soft leatherette, while the folding calf support folds away and is extremely comfortable for children.
I was impressed with how easy it was to fold and collapse. It only takes one hand, even with the seat unit on. It is also easy to fit into the boot or hallway which makes it ideal for travel. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, including an iCandy Core-branded changing rucksack and footmuff/liner.
